It is getting pretty friggin’ hard to root against this Child’s Play remake, y’all. Though this is old news, it bares discussion again. Mark Hamill is voicing Chucky in the Child’s Play remake.

Not ONLY did we have Aubrey Plaza to look forward to. Not ONLY did we have Bryan Tyree Henry to look forward to! But now we have this generation’s Joker voicing the Good Guy himself.
The cynic in me thinks this casting might be a bit TOO on the nose (and them tiptoeing around if he’s playing Charles Lee Ray as well is a bit frustrating), but C’MON. It is Mark Fucking Hamill. What am I going to do? NOT see it?
I will say the involvement of one Seth Grahame-Smith gives me pause, but the star power alone is probably going to get my ass in a seat. Fingers crossed for at least one Brad Dourif cameo.
But what do y’all think? Are you into this casting? What’s your favorite episode of Atlanta and why is it the “Charlie Rose” episode? Let us know in the comments below.
