If you would have told me 10 years ago when I was listening to some classic Blink-182 that I’d be typing that headline, I’d probably believe it, cause that’s how my life is going. Anyway, Tom DeLonge is super adamant that aliens exist, and we need some more information on his show.
Tom DeLonge will be executive producing Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation. The show is set to be a six-episode hour-long series that will center around Luis Elizondo. Elizondo was part of military intelligence who researched “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.” The show is set to premiere sometime around May on the History Channel.
As reported by Rolling Stone, the show will “feature newly authenticated evidence and footage of UFOs, as well as interviews with eyewitnesses and former military personnel. Per a statement, the show will ‘expose a series of startling encounters and embark on fascinating new investigations that will urge the public to ask questions and look for answers.‘”
Because why not.
The show will also feature DeLonge and Elizondo’s colleagues from the To The Star Academy. DeLonge started the organization in 2015 to help the research for technology and the things we can’t possibly see.
As much as I believe that something is out there and have my Mulder cap on, I want to see what this show brings to the table. We love ourselves a good “hunting” show. However, NME reports that the Executive Vice President and Head of Programming at History Eli Lehrer says that this will not be a “UFO hunting show.” Which, to be quite honest, really fucking sucks. Tom DeLonge hunting aliens is something I’d sign the fuck up for.
It’s going to be super interesting to see where DeLonge takes this show and what he aims to do with it. It’ll also be exciting to see what kind of evidence he brings to the table. So, watch Tom DeLonge’s show in May and witness that #AliensExist.
